Lessons

Whether our students ride for pleasure or have more serious aspirations such as a career with horses or competitive endeavor, we have the horses and program to meet their needs.

Starting with a young first time rider: we have safe well trained ponies and small arenas to cater to safety and fun learning. All introductory lessons start in the barn, teaching the student how to lead, groom, and starting to tack up the horse so they will be safe when working around the horses.

For the just starting adultamateur rider: we have safe well trained horses that will ease you into the joys of riding. Progressing at your own pace, we will ensure the correct fundamentals of a proper seat, and the knowledge for safelyhandlingand working around horses on the ground.

To the enthusiastic intermediate rider: we have talented horses ready for the hunter/ jumper arena. Students are taught the proper position for walk, trot, and canter in preparation for their first course of jumps, attend their first show, or field trip off the property. We spend even more time with each student making sure they are proficient on preparing for their lesson (grooming, tacking up, lunging) to aftercare (untacking, bathing, and tack cleaning). It is imperative each rider is responsible for their horse and feels safe and comfortable on the ground as well as on horseback.

To the motivated advanced rider: we have the programs to cater to your needs. Between our lease programs on show horses, to opportunities to ride with visiting clinicians, we can create the program that works for you.
