Dick“Widg”and Ruth Widger

Open for BellaMar clients only, BellaMar works closely with Ruth andWidg. We are quite lucky to have Ruth teach for us on a monthly basis and Widg when scheduling allows. Together they are quite a duo. Originally from Ireland, Widg brings years of experience and has guided the careers of many professional riders.

Hope Glynn: TBA

Hope Glynn started her career in SAHJA and grew up in Roseville on the local circuit. After graduating from UCDavis she started Sonoma Valley Stables in Petaluma California. She has gone on to be one of the top 10 money earners for International Derby riders of all time. She has developed and ridden to derby and hunter championships at every major horse show on both the east and west coast including, Hampton Classic, Bluegrass Festival, Central Park Horse Show, Capital Challenge, and PNHS. Hope was the PCHA and CPHA Horseman of the Year and has been awarded both the Arthur Hawkins award of excellence and EQUUS Hall of Fame award for her contribution to the hunter sport. She has coached riders to both hunter, jumper and equitation wins across the country including USEF Horse of the Year, NAYRC young riders, winner of the THIS National Medal finals and top 20 USEF Jr and Maclay National finals. She has also been a USEF "R" judge for 20 years. Hope is excited to still be involved in SAHJA and give this clinic to all levels.

PCHA Kristin Hardin Jumping Clinic

Members of the BellaMar show teamwillhave the pleasure of taking part in ajumpingclinic July 14-15atthe Santa Cruz County Fair Grounds in between the Almaden Farm Summer shows.

Kristing Hardin is one of the premier Grand Prix jumper riders on the West Coast. Thisclinic will be anamazingopportunityfor our team.

Gary Striker Clinic


BellaMar will be hosting a two day clinic with Gary Striker October 10 & 11. Pricing and detailstocome. Talk to Catie if you are interested in participating.

Gary Striker has been coaching equestrians and training hunter jumpers for almost thirty years. Gary began competing on the hunter - jumper circuit at a young age. After graduating from WSU Gary took a break from horses to start a career in hotel management. Gary soon realized his real calling was training and coaching hunter jumper riders and horses.

Gary currently holds a USEF “R” judges card and an Equine Canada “S” course designer card. Gary specializes in teaching riders the fundamental to advanced skills of flat work and jumping, training young horses and preparing students to show on the "A" circuit.
